Mayo now has a considerably improved road network allowing most parts of the county to be reached in a reasonable time from one of our external insulation depots in South Sligo.  And with a variety of climatic conditions to contend with there are an enormous number of buildings which can benefit from the service.

Inland areas will tend to experience the lowest temperatures, while coastal areas will see more wind cooling and the fact that the county is on the West coast means that generally the benefits for properly insulating buildings will be more significant.  In addition there are a wide range of buildings in Mayo which are ideally suited to the process.

We would appeal to anyone undertaking a renovation of an older building in particular to get in touch as one of the features we look for is an adequate roof overhang to facilitate the increase in wall thickness that results from externally insulating a dwelling.  The ideal approach would be to undertake all the work at the same time, but in the event that it is not we would suggest that the EWI installation is at least anticipated in advance.

Also there is the problem of how we decide which of the many systems to use.  Always consider the possibility that the person you seek advice from could provide an answer based on a false understanding, or based something they were told (2nd or 3rd hand) or based on a genuine but nonetheless misguided belief in the merits of something.
