Carbon Dioxide

In case you have just arrived on the planet, we are slowly coming to the realisation that the atmospheric CO2 levels have jumped 25% in 50 years – someone has been inconsiderate in a Buick in a big way – and guess which way its heading? BBQ’d icecaps anyone?

So what does this mean to you? -you will either change your  lifestyle or it will be changed for you – to a low carbon one – that means in the short term; better energy efficiency, transport changes and price changes.  A carbon tax will become the primary instrument for change as well as a raft of additional rules and regulations.  These will affect housing and transport as well as planning and design.  All of this designed to slow the rise not to reduce it – the likelihood is that this will be a multigenerational problem.
