Tree Planting
This winter cut some twigs and plant some trees – native species only are preferred. Greater success is possible if you select the species correctly – Willow for wet areas for example. Even better is to control growth around the base of the trees and also to keep browsers at bay.
Plant an Oak and perhaps in two hundred years time it will form the skeleton for your descendants super efficient home.
That is the trick with tree planting – it has to have an element of selflessness in an age of greed – still it makes economic sense even if you only wait a few years and cut it down for your stove. Plant trees – simple really.
